Using the Bot in Your Server

How to setup RPG Thunder in your own server!

Inviting the bot to your server

Setting up RPG Thunder in your own server is extremely easy! The first thing you'll need to do is invite the bot to your server. You can do that by Clicking Here. Another easy way is to type $help in any Discord server RPG Thunder is already in, and then clicking the Invite link at the bottom of the command.

Select the server you want to invite the bot to, and click Authorize. That's it! The bot is now in your server, and ready to use in any text channel!

Admin Commands

Below is a list of all the special commands used for setting up RPG Thunder in your server. These aren't necessary to play, but offer further customization of the bot.

You must be an Admin+ in the server you're trying to use these commands in. If you aren't, it won't work ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Blacklist a channel

You may want to blacklist a channel, for a variety of reasons. Doing so will cause RPG Thunder to not respond to commands in the channel you blacklisted. To do this type:

$blacklist {channel-name}

Please note, do not include the # before the channel name. If you'd like to remove a channel from being blacklisted, just run the command again.

Changing the bots prefix

There may be a number of reasons you'd like to change the bots prefix. The main reason being that another bot in your server already uses the same one. By default, RPG Thunder uses a $ for all commands, however, this is easy to change. To do so, type:

rpgthunder setprefix {prefix}

Simply swap out {prefix} for whatever prefix you'd like to use. You can check the currently set prefix by typing:

rpgthunder prefix

This will inform you of the prefix the bot is currently set to.
